Winter
It’s winter time in Wisconsin
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love Wisconsin
When the snow’s up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And you nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I’ll hang around
I could never leave Wisconsin
‘Cause I’m frozen to the ground

I think you have captured a photo of Wind Chill Factor, Glad I ain’t in Wisconsin, my butt is allergic to that much snow and cold.

That says it all…we lived in Minnesota for 8 years. Traded the leaf rake for the snow shovel. Now that we live in California I can enjoy the snow from afar. We are actually getting some rain to (maybe) take care of the drought.

Cross out the Wisconsin and write in South Dakota! I KNOW where you’re coming from!!Love the fact that you were able to capture the snow falling in the background night. Shoveling–a never ending job this year!

I like the text of the song “Winter in Wisconsin”; many years ago, when I was young, I had a penfriend in Milwaukee/Wisconsin, and the words of this song remember me of that time … Your picture underlines the meaning of “wintertime” very well.
