Dark
Dark skies rolled in just as this Navy T-28 Trojan joined in the Warbirds exercises. We left to put up the TR8’s hood (British convertible top) and raced to beat the ensuing storm to our home. The storm quickly followed, ending the air show. Worst reported casualty: One tipped over portapotty . . . hopefully unoccupied at the time.
This would make a cool poster…I am so loving this series!

Like the saying goes at air shows, safety first! Can’t get the port a potty thought out of my head, lol. Sorry you weather wasn’t as good for the show but you got perfect pictures, the dark smoke trail exiting the image is icing on the cake!

Hi Lois,
His smoke trail looks like the clouds are following him. Great shot. Have a great day!

Great shot…lots of movement…..some on the ground as well I gather.

I like the racing plane under the gathering clouds. Knowing some porta potty service people a tipped one means extra work. I’ll never forget the story of one remaining tipped during a heat wave. It required the use of a paint scraper to get it cleaned. TMI?

Exciting photo! But probably not exciting to take cover in a porta pottie and be tipped over!

You could be the official picture postcard provider for this event! Love this shot!
