The Letter M — Madeline Island

Madeline Island, located off the Bayfield Peninsula in Lake Superior, is one of the Apostle Islands. Big Bay State Park on Madeline Island offers incredible views of the lake.

    There is something distinctive about Lake Superior. We’ve been there a few time, though never to the Apostle Islands–and as coon as this picture scrolled up on the screen, I felt Lake Superior in my heart. I wasn’t surprised to see that my heart was right.
