An awning on this Plymouth 4 door sedan provided welcome shelter from a hot sun back in 1929 when air conditioning was not an option.

    That awning is so perfect…I want one of those. When I was a girl my grandpa drove a thunderbird w/ the suicide doors…I love those!

  18. OMG! I was going to try to limit my comments since I’m so faaaar behind but I can’t help myself! This is such a beautiful detail and such a beautiful specimen. I know we travel in such comfort nowadays but the folks in the past really travelled in style. Thanks for showing me this!
