Ford introduced its new 1932 special deluxe delivery truck with a new GE refrigerator at a General Electric dealer’s convention held in St. Louis. The new truck was one of 40 delivery and commercial models offered by Ford.
Was purple the natural color? Sure is a spiffy looking truck. We had a 1955 GE refrigerator that lasted until 1990. It was still running when we gave it up, mostly because it had a dinky freezer and the whole thing was pink. I like your white vignette on this.
Puts a new slant on ‘Cold Calling’….they sure had some great colour schemes back then

In Australia, we think FORD stands for Found On Rubbish Dump, and that one doesn’t resemble trash to me!

Seems to me rather modern.

I don’t know what I like best, the purple truck or the old fridge. A great combination.
