You are lucky to see so many of them.
There are some quite large ones around this area and about 5 years ago an 80 + pound one was caught through the ice.
Apparently it took 2 hours to land it which gave them time to go and get a chain saw to make the hole big enough to land it.
BTW..My son lives nearby in a ‘city’ names after them (Sturgeon Falls ).
