Here’s an interesting factoid – the tallest tree in the State of Wisconsin (according to WDNR) is in Montello.

That’s rather impressive! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a cottonwood but it’s gnarly trunk is so cool.

Hi Lois, Huge Cottonwood…we had those in our backyard when I was a child. The cotton blowing made it look lie it was snowing. Have a great day!
